Film-in-Concert Productions

Film-in-Concert productions combine iconic films with a live orchestra, performing the score onstage in precise synchronization with the film. Shelbie Rassler has conducted major Film-in-Concert productions including Marvel’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Lionsgate’s Twilight, and Disney and Pixar’s Coco. She is honored to be among the few conductors specializing in this emerging performance format, which introduces new audiences to the concert hall, many of whom are experiencing a live orchestra for the very first time.

Rassler has conducted extensive tours of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Twilight, performing in dozens of cities across the United States at major symphony halls and performing arts centers. Her work on Twilight also included international performances in Taiwan and Turkey, bringing the film in concert experience to audiences around the world. Drawing on her background as a conductor, composer, and large-scale music director, she is excited to continue expanding her work in this field and contributing to the future of live orchestral performance.
